We need your input! We welcome all interested ASERL members to join a community call discussion on May 8, 2024, regarding the state and future of shared print retention programming within ASERL as a consortium. As libraries increasingly turn staff and funding resources toward electronic licenses, data services, and less collections-oriented uses of library space, what issues are shaping print priorities in your libraries? What priorities are shaping your library’s plans for print collection management and development? And how can ASERL best support your needs through Scholars Trust, the Rosemont Shared Print Alliance, or otherwise? Please forward to interested ASERL colleagues. Your input will help us consider future directions!
