ASERL Friends: A few months ago I mentioned during a conference call that ASERL will convene a group of Resource Sharing colleagues to explore new RS tools & services, with the goal of formulating recommendations to ASERL’s
leadership. This is part of our 2020-2013 “ASERL Ahead” Strategic Directions,
to “ensure rapid and convenient user access to library content via enhanced resource sharing..."
This effort got side-tracked over the past few months – completely my fault – but we are now making the call anew, ready to convene the group and begin the exploration. I expect this work to require 2-3 hours
per month for the next 6-8 months, at most. If you’d like to be a part of the crew,
please drop me a note by Feb 10. Thanks in advance for your interest, forbearance, and willingness to collaborate! --jeb John Burger, Executive Director Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL) c/o Robert W.
