ASERL Friends: Several of you have talked to me about your interest in the “new and improved” version of Occam’s Reader ebook sharing tool, being developed by Texas Tech University Libraries. They are offering a series of
public demonstration webinars of Version 2.0 in August: Aug 11 – 1pm ET / 12n CT Aug 11 – 4pm ET / 3pm CT Aug 12– 1pm ET / 12n CT Aug 12 – 4pm ET / 3pm CT Aug 13– 1pm ET / 12n CT Aug 13 – 4pm ET / 3pm CT Aug 14– 1pm ET / 12n CT Aug 14 – 4pm ET / 3pm CT (Each demo will be the same, so there is no need to attend more than one.) If you are interested in attending one of the demos,
please email libraries.occams.reader [at] ttu.edu with the date and time slot that works best for you and they will send you the log in information for your desired date/time. We are considering ways we can make use of this technology within ASERL – we will convene a forum in early Fall to discuss our possible options. --jeb John Burger, Executive Director Association of Southeastern Research Libraries ASERL c/o Georgia State University Library - Administration Suite LS7 100 Decatur Street SE Atlanta, GA 30303-3202 Follow ASERL on Facebook:
