Good morning ASERL Selectives list members. ASERL has upgraded our listserv email service. This will, once again, mean a change in the address for our list. Please note the new address: aserl-selectives@aserl-lists.org (previous address was aserl-selectives@aserl.org). This change went into effect yesterday. I know that the “auto-complete” feature in Outlook is wonderful for quickly filling in addresses but not so much when an address changes (as we’ve seen in the past). It might be helpful if you would remove the old address from your cache – and good news, you can do this without affecting the names you want to keep! Check out these directions from Microsoft support (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287623): Outlook 2010 1. Open a new email message. 2. Type the first few characters of the nickname cache entry that you want to remove from the cache. 3. When the entry appears in the "suggested names" list, move your mouse pointer over the name until it becomes highlighted. (But do not click the name). 4. When the “X” icon appears next to the highlighted name, click X to remove the name from the list. Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2003 1. Open a new email message. 2. Type the first few characters of the nickname cache entry that you want to remove from the cache. 3. When the entry appears in the "suggested names" list, use the UP and DOWN arrow keys on your keyboard to select the entry, and then press DELETE on your keyboard. Hopes this helps! And thanks for your patience and understanding as we make this transition.
