ASERL Friends:

We are very pleased to share details about our second BIPOC Leadership
Development event, scheduled for July 19-21 at Georgia Tech. Following on the
smashing success of the first event held at U-Miami in April, the July event at
GT will have similar content and format. And like the Miami event, we are
encouraging ASERL libraries to send pairs of people (2 or more, preferably a
librarian + a staff person) to attend so they can collaborate and have an
at-home point of contact for their ongoing skills development and networking
into the future.

DETAILS & REGISTRATION: See
https://www.aserl.org/event/aserl-bipoc-leadership-development-mini-conference-at-georgia-tech/.

OTHER NOTES:

  * This workshop has a maximum capacity of 35 attendees, on a
first-come/first-seated basis.

sell out before that date.
  * Workshop registration is $250/person for July 19-20 sessions, with an
optional day of activities at an additional $40 cost on Friday, July 21.
  * Travel costs and arrangements are the responsibility of attendees
  * ASERL strongly encourages its members to support travel requests from
their teams who do not normally travel as part of their work
