Hello ASERL ILL world! We have completed compiling FY2023 ILL stats for
Kudzu borrowing and lending, as well as statistics for the
ASERL Rapid pod. For deeper analysis, we’ve also posted the
ASRL stats (OCLC in-group only, including WRLC; opens as PDF), and updated the
10-year statistical review with 2023 data (all Kudzu; opens as MS Excel). Although ILL activity is nowhere near early ‘00s levels, it has remained extraordinarily consistent the last three years, at 99.5% of last year’s activity. It’s interesting that the numbers have remained quite consistent since the first summer of the pandemic, when physical lending and borrowing practices shifted dramatically. Given the number of Rapid pods and micro-regional lending networks
ASERL libraries belong to, I’m glad to see that we have remained a steady source of fulfillment.
Now that FY24 is rolling along, I’ll be pulling Q1 stats soon. Those will be posted by October 26. Stay tuned! I’m excited to see where ILL goes inside ASERL and WRLC, and across the Southeast. You have an excellent network of colleagues ready to share and assist. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or to use the list for general
queries for your colleagues. Best wishes, Rebecca Rebecca Crist Program Coordinator for Shared Collection Resources Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL) ℅ Robert W. Woodruff Library 540 Asbury Circle, Suite 316 Atlanta, GA 30322-1006 tel: 470-222-4960 |
