Kudzu-Ops Friends: Please see the query below from Nicholas at KLG regarding a temporary switch to snail-mail for Kudzu shipments while we wait-out the possible UPS strike. Is that an acceptable solution for the group, given the

I’m planning to halt UPS shipments after Tuesday or Wednesday of next week unless the news indicates an agreement is likely. FedEx is a non-starter for our institution, can we send these snail mail until the strike is resolved if it happens?

Good Morning John, ALM will use USPS “Priority Mail” as an alternative to UPS if UPS goes on strike. The delivery time for priority mail will be quicker than library rate for USPS. We would be able to track items if necessary.
