Call for Applications: Visiting Program Officer for Expanded Resource Sharing Are you a collaborative, forward-thinking, dependable, and detail-oriented
individual? Are you excited about resource sharing and interested in exploring the new possibilities emerging to better connect libraries’ collections? Looking for a new challenge, but dedicated to your current job? ASERL may have the opportunity for you!
We are currently inviting applicants for the newly created Visiting Program Officer for Expanded Resource Sharing.
As the VPO, you’ll have the opportunity to help determine the direction
of future consortial resource sharing efforts. Working with the ASERL team, you’ll research current and emerging options for interlibrary lending and resource sharing technology and services, help to build a stronger resource-sharing community within the ASERL
libraries, and serve as the field-experienced expert as we explore options for enhancing resource sharing across the libraries. This position is expected to engage a one-year commitment of roughly
