Scheduling a session with OCLC resource sharing

Hello all,

As you heard in our last call, we’d like to invite Jenny Rosenfeld from OCLC to talk about their resource sharing capabilities, and especially to hear more about their real-time availability. I had originally proposed April 4 at 10am ET for that call. That feels perhaps a bit soon, so I’m sending a fresh poll for times.

In advance of that meeting, we’d like to gather questions to help focus the presentation in a meaningful way. Some of the questions that emerged from our call were:

  • Resource sharing for groups and how real-time availability works across groups. Can you be a member of multiple groups?
  • Curious to learn a little bit more about how they compute their Express program as that impacts how we work
  • What’s the process for enabling real-time availability?
  • How many of you are already in their express program? (TMA, ECU, Memphis, Auburn, ALM, GAT, TKN, VWM, VGM, SUC)

I’ve compiled those questions here; if you have additional thoughts please let me know, or feel free to add questions to the doc yourselves. The more we can ask for specific information, the more useful the session will be. Thanks for your input!

Best,

Rebecca
