John, thanks for looping me in to the conversation.

UNC-CH did implement Reprints Desk as part of our Elsevier cancellation. I am
copying Renée Bosman, Head of ILL, who is most familiar with our
implementation. Chris, we (mostly Renée) would be happy to talk about our
selection and scoping of content.

Best, Nerea

If memory serves me correctly, UNC Chapel Hill had included Reprints Desk as
part of their post-cancellation strategy...? Hopefully Nerea or someone else
from that library can chime in. There may be others I am not recalling...

ASERL has long had a discount agreement in place for Reprints Desk, mostly as a
supplement for traditional/ongoing ILL operations rather than a collection
strategy. See https://www.aserl.org/member-area/ for info on the discount.

Greetings, everyone!

I am inquiring as to whether anyone has instituted reprints desk as an article
acquisitions/document delivery in addition to interlibrary loan and document
delivery? I would love to talk to you briefly about your experience doing so
(particularly how you scope content)! I can't recall from our post-cancellation
panel if there were any instances.

Thanks for any input!

Chris
