ASERL/WRLC Resource Sharing Colleagues:

A quick rundown of news & announcements:

  1. University of South Florida/St Pete (FHS) is now a participant in the ASERL Reciprocal Resource Sharing Agreement.  Our webpages have been updated; please update your lending strings and respond to any requests you receive from FHS with the same speed and quality of service (and no fees!) that you provide to others in our group.
  2. The final update on holiday closures for 2022 is attached here.  Thanks to everyone who provided their information.
  3. University of Louisville (KLG) will discontinue using the ASERL-Fedex courier service as of the holiday break.  They will provide expedited deliveries of physical items to Kudzu libraries using UPS starting in January 2023.  **The other six libraries using our Fedex service should ship any materials to KLG using our contract through December 31, 2022.**
  4. Our partners at Reprints Desk are announcing a new pricing model for their Article Galaxy Scholar service to (hopefully) make it more attractive to libraries like ours -- more information coming soon.

Best wishes to all for the holidays, however you observe them.  With sincere thanks for all you do to support scholarly sharing throughout the year!

Kind regards,
