Hey-howdy, ASERL Friends:

Some of you may know that we have been drafting a set of consensus of  11 licensing principles.  Two groups of subject matter experts from ASERL libraries have been working on it – one to draft the text, and another to do peer review.  The peer review period has now closed; feedback was very positive, mostly suggestions for minor wording changes.  We hope to have this ready for public consumption in early 2022.  (Please note this draft is NOT YET APPROVED FOR PUBLIC CIRCULATION – so please do not share with others outside of ASERL at this time.)

BUT WHAT TO CALL THIS?  Our next challenge is to identify a snappy, memorable name for the document.  (I have rejected “The Eleven Commandments.”  😊) And WE NEED YOUR HELP!   To get your creative juices flowing, I am offering a $100 gift card to the person who submits the winning name, to be selected by the ASERL Board.  [Gift card will be purchased from a vendor of the winner’s choosing.]

Submit your ideas here!  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1as1-DlVCMH2Z5eShKiG__1v6wp6NLY8ZZcb3j6pYUJM/edit?usp=sharing.  Ideas must be submitted by 5pm ET on Dec 22, 2021 to be considered for the prize.

Thanks in advance for your help!
