Resource
Sharing: What Will We Keep from the Pandemic?
August 3, 2021
1:00-2:30 PM ET, 10:00 AM-11:30 AM PT
The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated several trends in academic libraries, including the shift from print to digital collections and the rethinking of subscriptions and licensing
agreements with journal publishers. Partnerships with peer institutions and enhanced resource sharing programs have helped college and university libraries manage these challenges. In this webinar, librarians will discuss ideas and innovations that emerged
during the pandemic, and how resource sharing can continue to help libraries adapt as the field continues to evolve.
Immediately following the introductory panel, attendees are invited to attend two sessions. One will offer panelists and participants the opportunity to take a deeper look into resource sharing through partnerships, and the other will feature academic librarians
discussing their experiences as partners with the new Rapido automated resource sharing platform.
