ASERL-ILL Friends:

I’ve gotten a couple inquiries lately about which libraries are using which resource sharing services, so my teammates and I have pulled together the attached spreadsheet showing all ASERL members’ OCLC symbols that are participating in the various levels of resource sharing agreements.  This does not include the WRLC libraries/symbols that participate in the base-level reciprocal resource sharing agreement – just ASERL libraries here.

We seek your review / verification on the following:

  • ASERL libraries (including multiple branch campuses) in the base-level agreement,.  Expectations for these libraries include quick turnaround, but no specific shipping method.
  • The symbols noted in the Kudzu column have agreed to ship items to each other via an expedited (2-day service) shipper of their choosing
  • The symbols noted in the ASERL-FedEx column use ASERL’s contract to ship items to each other (and ONLY to each other) via FedEx 2-day service

We’ve also noted which ASERL libraries are CRL and HathiTrust members, for informational purposes.

If you see any incorrect or missing symbols, please let me know so we can update.  Once we have your feedback we will post this to the ASERL website for ready reference.

Thanks much!  Have a good weekend, all.
