New from Reprints Desk: Article Galaxy Scholar. A Preview for ASERL Members

Since 2015, ASERL libraries have enjoyed discounts on document delivery service fees from Reprints Desk as a benefit of their membership. To date, more than 25 ASERL libraries have saved
hundreds of thousands, while providing excellent turnaround time for their patrons seeking items not held in the library's collections.
Later this Spring, Reprints Desk will launch a new service called Article Galaxy Scholar (AGS). It will provide ready access to scholarly content from over 30,000 journals within minutes to seconds. The first of its kind, AGS is an on-demand document delivery
solution that enables libraries to:
• Fill gaps in their existing collection holdings
• Prioritize the provision of Open Access content
• Simplify workflows
• Monitor budget usage and
• Improving the overall user experience for library patrons.
Together with Jennifer Carroll, Collection Management Librarian at the University of New Hampshire, on March 9, 2021 Reprints Desk will provide a glimpse into the workings of Article Galaxy Scholar for ASERL members. During this webinar, you will get an overview
of how AGS service streamlines article acquisition workflows -- both directly and through integrations with systems such as EBSCO Discovery Service, Ex Libris' Alma & Primo, ILLiad, Tipasa and RapidILL -- and the special copyright royalty rates available to
ASERL libraries.
