(Apologies for cross-posting) Hello- The volume of phone calls and emails we’ve received in Vandy ILL today indicates word has gotten around that Vanderbilt University will be holding classes online-only through the end of the month. Everything is very fluid right now while
plans are made and procedures established, but at the moment the Interlibrary Loan department plans to remain open and operating normally. So, yes, it’s OK to send us the resource we requested! We’ll be here to receive and process it. If we do need to close,
we’ll go lowercase in OCLC and I will send out an email with an update. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I know many ILL departments have been advised to make contingency plans for this kind of scenario, and we’d be happy to answer questions about what/how we’re doing things.
