Hey folks:

Here’s a working draft of the proposed revisions to the ASERL-WRLC Guidelines.  We’ll discuss on Monday during our Kudzu-Ops conference call.  Your feedback is sought & welcomed.  This draft is a work-in-progress and has not yet been signed-off by the Task Force that drafted it.  Once that is complete, the final proposal will be posted for a full-group review -- sometime in October.  This is to say that this is not your only opportunity to review/comment

Have a good weekend, all!

See also, from Judy Greenwood – MUM:  I would be interested in seeing a discussion of the routing rules you are using. Routing rules are somewhat easy to modify. I’m always looking for something to improve the workflow that doesn’t cost money. J

The most useful transaction routing rules for us:

Awaiting Branch Library Processing – routes items requested by Pharmacy and Chemistry departments to Science borrowing

Direct Request routing

Library Delivered to Web - Moves borrowing requests filled by library (electronic) to document delivery

Several routing rules for RapidILL

Several routing rules for purchase-on-demand through ILL

We also use email routing rules that change the transaction status based on the nature of the email.

2)    Update – Review / Revisions to ASERL-WRLC Reciprocal ILL Guidelines

3)    Any feedback on use of Occam’s Reader yet?

4)    Feedback on “Collections Summit” idea?
