ASERL Friends:

On October 6th we will offer a webinar about RightsStatement.org, a joint
program developed by Europeana and Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) to
provide standardized rights statements for online cultural heritage materials.
Emily Gore, Director of Content for DPLA, and Dave Hansen, Clinical Assistant
Professor and Faculty Research Librarian at UNC School of Law, will review the
content and purposes of RightsStatement.org,. These rights statements make it
easy to see if and how online cultural heritage works can be reused.
