REMINDER / UPDATE: HathiTrust Shared Print webinar is Wednesday

As you have heard, HathiTrust is initiating a Shared Print Program to secure 
retention commitments for print monographs that correspond to holdings in the 
HathiTrust Digital Library.  Lizanne Payne, HathiTrust Shared Print Program 
Officer, has recently invited member libraries to participate in Phase 1 as 
planning partners and potential collection holders.  Lizanne will present 
information to ASERL libraries about the HathiTrust Shared Print Program, 
including: 
  •  goals and timetable
  •  the difference between Phase 1 (start-up) and Phase 2 (full implementation)
  •  policy development
  •  expected roles and activities of Phase 1 participants
  •  relationship to other shared print agreements e.g. EAST, VIVA, and others
  •  next steps to join the Phase 1 program Additional information can be found
