ASERL and WRLC Resource Sharing Colleagues:

Based on feedback from our users, we seek to convene a review of the ASERL-WRLC Reciprocal ILL policy (see http://www.aserl.org/programs/ill/reciprocal-agreement/) with an eye to recommending changes that can standardize processes and generally streamline operations in ways that would be beneficial to the group.

We seek volunteers from ASERL and WRLC libraries to help conduct this review.  Persons with hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of this program, and those familiar with Best Practices in resource sharing, are sought to assist in this review.  We expect the review to take place in September-October 2016, with recommendations ready for review by the end of the calendar year.

To date we have two volunteers ? Jessica Bowdoin (George Mason University) and James Harper (Wake Forest University).  We seek 6-8 others from WRLC and ASERL libraries to join this effort.  If you are interested in serving in this role, please let me or Bruce Hulse (hulse [at] wrlc.org) know by August 19, 2016.

Thanks for considering this request.
