ASERL Friends: As some of you know, we’ve been talking with representatives from Ex Libris and some ASERL libraries who may be interested in adopting Alma as their ILS. One of the main drivers
for this activity was the libraries’ desire for improved resource sharing functions. We have asked Ex Libris to provide a webinar for ASERL librarians who want to explore these issues further in early December to help clarify the various options. Specifically,
we will cover: ·
Alma’s “out of the box” resource sharing functions -- between libraries who all have Alma, but without a shared Network Zone; ·
Alma’s resource sharing functions for libraries that all use Alma and create a shared Network Zone; ·
Alma’s resource sharing functions for interoperating with non-Alma libraries. DATE / TIME: If this webinar is of interest to you, please use the poll below to indicate your availability:

You can attend this webinar no matter the ILS used by your library – it’s is open to all interested ASERL librarians. Also, we will not share your contact information with Ex
Libris. Please let me know any questions / suggestions for other items you might want to be covered in this session.
