Assistant/Associate Dean of Public Services The University of Mississippi Libraries invites applications and nominations for an Assistant/Associate Dean of Public Services. Reporting
to the Dean of Libraries, this position provides strategic leadership for the Public Services departments and units including reference, access services, instruction, web services, interlibrary loan, and the Science Library. Additionally, the Assistant/Associate
Dean provides administrative oversight of personnel, budgets, and activities; insures appropriate internal and external communication; and serves as the primary advocate to ensure that the Library gives excellent service as it responds to current and future
needs of the user community. The Assistant/Associate Dean of Public Services will serve on key leadership teams in the library. This is a tenure track position with the expectation of ongoing achievement in librarianship, research, and service. Incumbent’s Responsibilities: Required Qualifications: Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience. The salary begins at a minimum of $80,000 with a competitive benefits package.
