Dear Friends and Colleagues:

 

It’s been my immense pleasure to work with you on the KUDZU project.  I’ve had the rare honor of helping to create something wonderful that actually works and makes life easier for faculty and students across the Southeast, and I appreciate the opportunity.  However, all good things must come to an end, and after 10 years as the Library Chair, 19 years as the Head of Resource Sharing, 22 years in ILL, and a total of 34 years working in libraries, it’s time for me to do something else.  I have been privileged to work with you over these past years, and it’s been a wonderful experience.  You have enriched my life both professionally and personally, and I hope I have done the same for you.  I thank you all for all the help and encouragement, and for our being able to work together for the common good of all.  It’s been a privilege and a honor and I appreciate it.  My last day will be September 30, but I will be around if you need anything;  some encouragement, a letter of reference, or even just a recommendation on a good beer.  It’s been fun, and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.  Thanks.
