University of Alabama ILL request

Hello,
I realize that I sent a note a few weeks ago stating that we were back to
normal operations after the tornado. We are but we still have students and
faculty who left campus right after the tornado and have not yet returned. As
a result we have some overdue ILL books right now. We expect that students and
faculty will either return the books sometime this summer or when they return
in the fall or they will notify us that they were lost in the tornado. In the
meantime we can continue to pay for lost items that may be returned or we can
wait until the end of our summer term and see what is returned. I realize that
this may not help if you have requests for materials that are checked out to
our students and faculty. If you can wait to bill us for lost items until late
August, it would probably save some paperwork on both ends since we are
continuing to see materials being returned. However, if you do not wish to
wait, please bill us immediately and we will consider the transaction closed.

Thank you,
Millie Jackson
