I understand about the weather conditions and missed pickups/dropoffs, it's 
snowing AGAIN here, so it not getting any better, yet.

This morning, we got a substitute driver who just dropped off our bags and 
refused to pick up.  So, please let the others know that we have about 3 days 
of deliveries waiting here to go out and when the weather clears-that is if we 
can cram any more bags into the bin.

As you are aware weather conditions in the Atlanta area have been extremely bad 
these last couple of days.  Due to the severe nature of the weather and 
conditions on the roads here and all over the southeast, Lanter did not run any 
of their line hauls out of Atlanta the last two days and therefore none of the 
local delivery routes were run.  

We are trying to get back on schedule today and freight will be shipping 
tonight and our delivery routes will run tonight.  While the areas around 
libraries may be clear, almost all books shipped on Lanter must come through 
Atlanta for sorting and we have not been able to run the last two nights. We 
apologize for the interruption of service and hope to be back to normal tonight.

Hey Melissa & John:

I've not been notified of specific outages, although much of the southern tier 
of the region is dealing with a serious ice storm.  Our office has been closed 
all week, and the TV news is showing trucks stranded all over the place.  I'm 
sending your note on to Lanter's regional office to see what they can tell me.  
I'll let you know what I hear...
