Hello ASERL friends, Library Partnership Rating, co-founded by Rachel Caldwell and Robin N Sinn, is seeking
volunteers to help score or evaluate several journal publishers. LPR uses a
rubric to evaluate journal publisher practices for alignment with library values. For background,
see our publication list. We’re looking for librarians to score two journal publishers during Spring 2026. Evaluation generally happens over 6 weeks. It consists of
An evaluation typically takes 1.5-3 hours per publisher. Scorers receive attribution but their completed rubrics remain anonymous. LPR provides a letter describing the work to include in your evaluation
