ASERL Friends: I am very pleased to share the news that the Ivy Plus Library Consortium is the newest partner in the Library Accessibility Alliance (LAA). Other LAA partners include the Big Ten Academic Alliance, Washington Research Library Alliance, Greater Western Library Alliance, and ASERL. I think this is ASERL's first collab with the Ivy Plus consortium; we are looking forward to this new opportunity. See https://www.libraryaccessibility.org/news/ivy-plus-libraries-confederation-joins-library-accessibility-alliance for the full announcement. ALSO: The ASERL Accessibility Interest Group is developing activity plans for the year ahead, including new webinars and community calls, development of a Library Spaces Guide for hiring, and other ideas. We're also looking for volunteers to help plan and execute these ideas! * If you're interested in learning more, please contact Beth Ashmore (NCSU), Sara Belmont (William & Mary) or Tracie Krumbine (UNC Charlotte) for more information. * If you want to get messages about future Accessibility Interest Group activities, please subscribe to the email list at http://lists.aserl-lists.org/mailman/listinfo/aserl-accessibilityig Thanks for your ongoing support! Kind regards, --j.e.b. John Burger, Executive Director Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL) 540 Asbury Circle, #316 Atlanta, Georgia 30322 404-218-4207 -- cellular
