All,
We have an issue that I am hoping someone can help us solve. We have a staff
member with a print disability working in cataloging. The person is using a new
computer running Windows10 and the following software:

WorkFlows 3.7.0.0.1149 which is the most current version from Sirsi

OCLC Connexion 2.63 which is the current version

ZoomText 14.5.7.0 which we believe this is ZoomText 2020. There is a more
current version, ZoomText 2021, which was just released this month.

ZoomText is working well for everything except when using Workflows and OCLC
Connexion. The problems are significant delays- 30-40 seconds for an operation
that should take far less or a complete failure of translating text to speech.

Has anyone else had similar issues and found a solution or do you use different
software to meet a similar need? We are trying to move away from Workflows
which is a fat client but need more functionality in the BlueCloud suite. The
person was not having issues on a much older machine running Windows7.

Obviously we will try a new version of ZoomText when it becomes available but
are hoping to identify an alternative solution.

Thanks much,

Robin
