Subject: Fwd: Registration for the Conference for Entrepreneurial Librarians is open!

Hi John,  Please forward to your ASERL lists. Thanks, Kathy

On October 12, 2018 the Conference for Entrepreneurial Librarians will present Grow, Evolve, Lead. In this 6th edition of the celebration of entrepreneurial librarianship, the conference keynotes and concurrent presenters will explore how librarians have been entrepreneurial in their own professional development and how entrepreneurialism impacts communities. This year, the 2018 conference will explore where the profession has been and where it needs to go to meet the everyday challenges of librarians. The goal of the 2018 conference is to inspire entrepreneurial action among librarians and create a community among those who do.

The 2018 keynote speakers are Timothy Owens, Assistant State Librarian at the State Library of North Carolina, and Patrick “P.C.” Sweeney, Political Director for EveryLibrary.

Previous conferences have received rave reviews from attendees, and the participants represented a broad array of geographic and library backgrounds. Don’t forget! One great reason to attend the 2018 conference is to network with like-minded entrepreneurial librarians.

The Conference for Entrepreneurial Librarians is organized by University Libraries at the UNC Greensboro and the Z. Smith Reynolds Library at Wake Forest University. The full schedule and additional conference information is available at entrelib.org.
