The Mississippi State University (MSU) Libraries seek applicants for an entry-level tenure-track, Assistant Professor position. This position contributes to the development of a virtual research database by performing original and complex adaptive cataloging of monographic materials representing all subject matter and all formats according to RDA, AACR2, Library of Congress-Program for Cooperative Cataloging Policy Statements (LC-PCC PSs), LC classification, LC Subject Headings, and MARC21 formats. This position reports to the Coordinator of Monographic Cataloging.
